President Tinubu Celebrates APC Chairman Ganduje at 75


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

In a statement issued on December 25, 2024, President Tinubu lauded Dr. Ganduje for his unwavering dedication to public service and his invaluable contributions to the development of Kano State and Nigeria. Highlighting their shared political journey, the President described Dr. Ganduje as a trusted ally and a pillar of support in the APC.

Acknowledging his leadership achievements, President Tinubu praised Dr. Ganduje's stewardship as National Chairman, which has fortified party unity and facilitated significant electoral successes. He commended Ganduje’s strategic guidance and commitment to the APC's national development agenda.

President Tinubu reflected on Dr. Ganduje's distinguished career, starting from his pioneering role as a civil servant in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to his tenure as commissioner in Kano State during the 1990s. 

He also recognized Ganduje’s political achievements, including his service as deputy governor and his two-term governorship of Kano State from 2015 to 2023, which left a lasting impact on governance and infrastructure development in the state.

The President expressed gratitude for Ganduje’s dedication to constitutional democracy and his policy insights that have consistently shaped national progress. He encouraged Dr. Ganduje to continue his exemplary service to the party and the nation with unwavering passion.
