The vice chancellor of Northwest University Kano, Professor Muktar Atiku Kurawa has described sports as a way of keeping and improving the health status of the staff. Professor Muktar Atiku Kurawa stated this during the opening ceremony of the second edition of the university's staff Games 2025 organized by the sports directorate held at the institution playing pitch. The vice chancellor who was represented by the deputy vice chancellor Administration, Professor Abubakar Salisu Garba said organizing such type of sporting competition will go along way in improving their healthy and sound in discharging the duty.
