MNHC week:Governor Yusuf Commits ₦670 Million to Combat Malnutrition, Improve Child Health
Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reaffirmed his commitment to tackling malnutrition and enhancing maternal and child health by releasing ₦500 million as counterpart funding to UNICEF for nutrition initiatives in the state. In a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, governor Yusuf made this declaration during the official flag-off of the second Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) Week held in Kumbotso Local Government Area.
