Wasa Farin Girki, Shekarar 2025 Za Ta Kasance Mafi Alkhairi Ga Kanawa Karkashin Shugabancin Gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf - Shugabar ARTV

Shugabar gidan talabijin na ARTV Kano Hajiya Hauwa Isah Ibrahim ta taya al’ummar Kano da jagoran Kwankwasiyya na duniya Sanata Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso da gwamna Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf da mataimakinsa Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo murnar shiga sabuwar shekara ta 2025.

Hajiya Hauwa ta kuma taya dukkanin ma’aikatanta na ARTV murnar shiga sabuwar shekarar tare da kira a garesu su kara jajircewa wajen aikinsu ,tana Mai basu tabbacin cigaba da basu hadin kan da ya dace .

A saƙonta, Hajiya Hauwa ta ce ta ɗaura gabarar sake bunƙasa harkokin tashar talabijin ɗin mallakin jihar Kano fiye da yadda ta yi cikin ƙanƙanin lokaci a shekarar 2024.

Shugabar ARTV din ,tayi fatan cewa shekarar 2025 zata zamo mafi Alkairi ga mutanan Kano karkashin jagorancin gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Tace idan akayi la’akari da kasafin kudin da gwamna Yusuf ya sanyawa hannu da Karin da aka samu daga sama da naira biliyan 549 zuwa sama da naira biliyan 719 ,babu shakka gwamna Yusuf ya shirya kawo karshen matsalolin da ake samu na wahalhalu a Kano musamman taadar rayuwa da yunwa da Kuma talauci.

Ta jinjinawa gwamnan abisa yadda baya wasa da bangaren Ilimi da koshin lafiyar al’umar Kano,da kuma yadda yake tafiyar da tsare tsaren da ya dauko tun a yakin neman zabensa .

Hajiya Hauwa ta kuma bayyana yadda Gwamnatin Kano ta ɗauki harkar yaɗa labarai da muhimmanci tare da tafiya daidai da zamani.

Ta yiwa al’ummar Kano albishir da samun sabbin shirye-shirye na musamman a tashar cikin wannan sabuwar shekara.

Ta nemi al’uma suci gaba da yiwa gwamnan jihar Kano Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf fatan Alkairi da adu’a.

Kano Govt Reaffirms Full Support for State Anti-Graft Agency's Efforts to Combat Corruption in Public Service

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, in partnership with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) under the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (ROLAC) program, has taken a significant step towards enhancing the capacity of civil service directors in the fight against corruption. 

The commission organized a capacity-building workshop aimed at equipping public servants with the necessary tools and knowledge to combat corruption within their ranks.

State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by his Dedputy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, reiterated the state government's dedication to eradicating corruption at all levels of governance. 

Abba Kabir assures the Commission of the Government’s full backing in its efforts to eliminate corruption from the public service and called for unwavering commitment from all public officials
He called on the directors to take the lessons learned from the workshop seriously and apply them in their daily responsibilities.

In his welcome address, the Head of Civil Service in Kano State, Abdullahi Musa, emphasized the importance of the workshop in fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within the civil service. 

He highlighted the state's commitment to ensuring that public servants are well-trained and prepared to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their duties.

Barrister Muhuyi Magaji, Chairman of the Kano Anti-Corruption Commission, delivered a keynote address, focusing on the critical role of civil servants in the state's anti-corruption efforts. 

Muhuyi details the Commission’s success in investigating and prosecuting cases of corruption which involves Civil servants, recovering cases of corruption, recovering stolen funds and implementing preventive measures to reduce the incidence of corruption within the state.

Magaji emphasized that, these achievements demonstrate the Commission’s commitments to maintaining integrity and transparency in the public sector

He urged the directors to be proactive in identifying and addressing corrupt practices, noting that their leadership positions place them at the forefront of the battle against corruption.

Representatives from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were also in attendance. They shared insights into federal-level anti-corruption initiatives and discussed how these could be harmonized with the state's efforts.

The ROLAC II program, represented by Rabi’u Bello, emphasized the importance of continuous capacity building for public servants. 

The program's goal is to support Nigerian institutions in promoting the rule of law and reducing corruption through effective training and collaboration.

Participants engaged in various interactive sessions covering topics such as ethical governance, whistleblower protection, and the implementation of anti-corruption policies. 

The workshop is expected to enhance the effectiveness of civil service directors in maintaining a transparent and accountable public service in Kano State.

The event concluded with a strong call to action for the civil service directors to lead by example and contribute actively to the state's ongoing fight against corruption.

Gov. Yusuf Stunnes by Drug Dealers' Audacity in Pursuing Court Protection

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has expressed astonishment at the boldness exhibited by certain drug dealers who have sought legal recourse through court orders for the release of confiscated illicit drug shipments.

In an statement issued by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, it was disclosed that the governor was taken aback by their actions during his visit to the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), where he was briefed on the situation.

Governor Yusuf's amazement was evident as he discovered that individuals engaged in the illicit drug trade had successfully procured court orders for the release of their seized contraband.

He conveyed his profound surprise at the judges who sanctioned such orders, emphasizing the severity of the issue at hand.

In response to this troubling development, Governor Yusuf instructed the state Attorney General to formulate a comprehensive strategy to prevent drug traffickers from exploiting legal loopholes in the future.

He stressed the crucial necessity for collaboration between the judiciary and the government to shield the state from the dangers posed by drug trafficking.

Recognizing the diligence KAROTA in apprehending illicit drugs, the Governor urged the agency to take the requisite actions to eliminate the confiscated substances.

Reiterating his administration's unwavering dedication to combating drug smuggling within the state, Governor Yusuf affirmed governmental assistance to agencies committed to combating drug trafficking and abuse.

Governor Yus firm position underscores the seriousness of the drug trafficking dilemma and the urgent need for unified endeavors to protect the state from the menace of illicit substances.


Governor Yusuf Criticizes REMASAB, KAROTA for Substandard Service...


..... Expresses dissatisfaction over the decay of equipment at two public work agencies


Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed disappointment with performance of Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), and Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) in the discharge of their public responsibilities.

This was contained in a statement issued by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Spokesperson to the Governor.

Governor Yusuf also ordered the management of the two agencies to submit comprehensive inventory of their equipment to ascertain poor state of facilities. 

The Governor gave the orders after unscheduled visit to the two government agencies where he lamented inefficiency in the management of facilities and personnel of the agencies.

Yusuf who was compiciously worried by the inactive of the agencies regretted the low out of the government agencies despite huge investment and equipment procurement. 

At REMASAP, the Governor discovered seven functional waste evacuation trucks despite the availability of 30, just as three payloaders are working of the 15 available.

The Governor was also informed that 10 workers of REMASAB are permanent and pensionable while the rest are casuals, expressing concern with the situation of casual staff which he described inhuman keeping such personnel for 20 years. 

While at KAROTA head office, the Governor discovered significant number of operational vehicles grounded.

Dissatisfied with the development, the Governor directed KAROTA management to  submit comprehensive inventory of their operational vehicles immediately.

Gov Yusuf said government investment in the provision of operational vehicles to REMASAB was a demonstration of priority atteched the sanitation in state but the management failed to live to expectation.

"I am not happy with what I saw at the two agencies, this calls for a total overhaul of the system, we cannot afford to fail in the discharge of the madates of  agencies like KAROTA and REMASAB" the Governor vowed during an on the spot visit

The Managing Directors of the REMASAB and KAROTO  Hon. Amadu Haruna Zago and Engr. Faisal Mahmoud arrived the scene and were directed to meet the Chief of Staff to the Governor for emergency meeting on how to address the immediate challenges of the agencies.

1st Anniversary: Gov. Yusuf To Declare State of Emergency On Education, Tuesday

The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, is poised to declare a state of emergency in the education sector, aiming to expedite efforts to enhance the delivery of educational services and ensure to quality education for all in Kano.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor's spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Sunday.

The Governor, who is set to declare the state of emergency on Tuesday, has said that it is in fulfillment of one of his crucial campaign promises outlined in his document titled "My Commitment for Kano," which was formulated and presented to the public in 2022, ahead of the 2023 elections.

"The declaration of a state of emergency in education is intended to hasten actions in delivering services to guarantee access to quality education for all in Kano,"

"Concerned about the deteriorating state of the education sector, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is prepared to declare a state of emergency in education in order to expedite a comprehensive overhaul of the sector and propose a definitive solution to the current challenges in higher, secondary, and primary education." The statement said.

The forthcoming event will convene all pertinent stakeholders in the field of education, including development partners, state and federal agencies, as well as esteemed dignitaries such as the Minister of Education, governors from other states, members of the academic community, and representatives from the media.

Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, the 4th of June, 2024, at the open arena of the Government House in Kano, the event will be broadcast on Channels TV and various local stations.
