The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, in partnership with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) under the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (ROLAC) program, has taken a significant step towards enhancing the capacity of civil service directors in the fight against corruption.  The commission organized a capacity-building workshop aimed at equipping public servants with the necessary tools and knowledge to combat corruption within their ranks. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has expressed astonishment at the boldness exhibited by certain drug dealers who have sought legal recourse through court orders for the release of confiscated illicit drug shipments. In an statement issued by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, it was disclosed that the governor was taken aback by their actions during his visit to the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), where he was briefed on the situation. Expresses dissatisfaction over the decay of equipment at two public work agencies Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed disappointment with performance of Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), and Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) in the discharge of their public responsibilities.
