Kano State Government has announced Sunday 5th January, 2025 as the resumption date for all Boarding Public/Private Primary and Post Primary Schools in the State for the commencement of 2024/2025 second term academic session. Kano State Government has postponed resumption date of both Primary and Post Primary Schools for the commencement of 2024/2025 academic session. A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru quoted the Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa explaining that the decision to postpone the resumption date is compelled by some urgent reasons. Umar Doguwa disclosed that another day for the schools resumption would soon be announced by the ministry. " I wish to inform pupils, students and parents that the announcement earlier made for schools resumption on 8th and 9th Sept, 2024 is now being postponed due to some urgent reasons that would help in improving conducive learning atmosphere for our children.
