In a bold reaction to insinuations that the APC is planning to manipulate the 2027 elections in Kano, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has vowed to resist any pressure on his mandate. Speaking during the monthly women empowerment program at Coronation Hall yesterday, the Governor emphasized that he is not worried about the 2027 elections, as leadership is ordained by the Almighty Allah. This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa. “What I am worried about is not re-election. I am more concerned about delivering the dividends of democracy on the mandate given to me in this first tenure.
