Kano State Ministry of Education has indicated its readiness to work with Alumni of Old Boys Associations across the state to improve the standard of education. Kano State Government has shifted resumption date for all day public/private primary and post-primary schools in the state to Tuesday 17th September, 2024. The Kano State Government has approved Sunday, September 15th, 2024, as the new resumption date for all boarding public/private primary and post-primary schools in the state for the start of the 2024/2025 first term academic session. Pupils and students in day schools across the state will resume on Monday, September 16th, 2024.  It should be noted that the state Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, announced on Saturday, September 7th, the postponement of the school resumption date. Umar Doguwa disclosed that another day for the schools resumption would soon be announced by the ministry.
