Gov. Yusuf Condoles JIBWIS, Commissioner for Women Affairs Over Passing of Engr. Yusuf Abdullahi

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has received with shock the death of Engr. Yusuf Abdullahi (Baba), a respected engineer, religious leader, and immediate younger brother of the Kano State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Children and the Disabled, Hon. Amina Abdullahi Sani.

The late Engr. Yusuf was also a close associate of the Kano based Islamic scholar, Professor Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, and a committed member State of Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'ah Wa'iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), where he was widely admired for his dedication to the propagation of Islam and community service.

In a condolence message issued by the governor's Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano on Tuesday, Governor Yusuf said the deceased was a humble, God-fearing and compassionate individual whose contributions to engineering, religious activities and humanitarian causes earned him the respect of many across Kano State and beyond.

Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf noted that the death of Engr. Yusuf is a great loss not only to his immediate family but also to the entire JIBWIS family, the engineering profession and the people of Kano State.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Amina Abdullahi, Professor Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, the leadership and members of JIBWIS, as well as the entire Abdullahi family, praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased.

He also prayed fervently for Allah to admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Kano Information Commissioner Condoles with Danzago Family Over Demise of Renowned Politician and Businessman

Kano state commissioner of information and internal affairs Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya has paid condolences visit to the family of Late Alhaji Amadu Haruna Danzago over the death of the renowned politician and businessman.

During the visit on Saturday evening, the commissioner described the death as a great loss to Kano, business community and Nigeria as a whole.

He said, Dazago's death has created a wide vacuum in Nigerian politics, and the business community due to his active role in shaping governance and entrepreneurship development.

He urged politicians to emulate the leadership qualities of Late Danzago' who before his death served as managing Director Kano Refuse management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB)

'' Late Amadu Haruna Danzago will continue to be remembered for his contribution to the economy as a business man, as well as the political space, because throughout his active live was dedicated to serving humanity and building younger generation ''

Waiya prayed for the soul of the late elder stateman and for his family to bear the lost.

He also extended his condolences to governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the national leader of the NNPP engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso over the loss.

Kano Deputy Governor Condoles with Governor Namadi in Jigawa Over Tragic Losses


The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, on Sunday, extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State over the tragic loss of the mother and son of the state governor, Alhaji Umar Namadi.

In a statement signed by the Press Secretary Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Garba Shu'aibu, said the late Hajiya Maryam Namadi, mother of Governor Namadi, passed away on December 25, 2024, after a protracted illness. Adding to the family’s grief, Governor Namadi's eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, sadly lost his life in a fatal car accident.

Comrade Gwarzo, visited Kafin Hausa, the hometown of Governor Namadi, to offer support and solidarity during this time of immense sorrow.

Speaking during the visit, the Deputy Governor expressed his profound sympathy, acknowledging the depth of the losses and describing them as an immense test of faith. 
He noted that the deceased individuals were not only beloved members of their family but also remarkable figures whose lives positively impacted their community.

"Though these losses are deeply painful, they remind us of the transient nature of life and the importance of unwavering faith in Allah's decree," Comrade Gwarzo stated. 

He prayed for Allah’s boundless mercy upon the departed souls and sought strength and patience for the bereaved family to endure this irreplaceable void.
Governor Umar Namadi, in his response, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Governor for their compassionate visit. 

The Governor prayed for Allah's blessings upon them and thanked them for standing by him and his family during this challenging time.
