Kano-ACReSAL Opens Bids for Bulbula-Gayawa Gully Erosion Control Project

The Kano State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project has taken a significant step forward in addressing gully erosion challenges by opening bids for the Bulbula-Gayawa erosion control initiative. The bid opening session, held today at the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) Conference Hall, was overseen by the State Project Coordinator, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim. The process ensured transparency as bids were unsealed and read aloud in the presence of company representatives, SPMU staff, and media personnel. Kano-ACReSAL introduces the ESMP and RAP Consultants to Rarin and Bulbula-Gayawa Communities

The State Project Coordinator Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim led a team comprising the project staff and the representative of the consultancy firms engaged  for Environment and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and Resettlement Action plan (RAP)studies, to the proposed erosion control sites at Bulbula-Gayawa in Nassarawa and Rarin in Dawakin-Tofa Local Government Areas respectively.
