Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna's career exemplifies a remarkable blend leader whose journey reflects resilience, faith, and unwavering commitment to service. Although he may have lost the seat of Governor, his profile continues to rise, showcasing his ability to adapt and thrive in the face of adversity. His political journey has been marked by significant achievements and appointments that highlight his capabilities and the respect he commands within the political landscape. Notably, he has made a lasting impression in all the political appointments he has held, a journey that has traversed across three different administrations, all executed with an uncommon posture. This is indeed a very rare occurrence in the Nigerian political history.

Last year, Dr. Gawuna was appointed Chairman of the Governing Council of Bayero University Kano (BUK). This appointment, while celebrated by many, was met with mixed feelings from some of his supporters. They expressed concerns regarding his political acumen and the dynamics of his followership. However, Dr. Gawuna approached this role with humility and determination, placing his trust in the decision as the right choice for the moment.

Yet again, his stance remained unchanged despite the prevailing choices made by others. This steadfastness in the face of political maneuvering is a testament to his character and integrity. That’s Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna—someone who remains true to his principles, regardless of the circumstances.

His recent appointment as Chairman of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) has been met with widespread acclaim from both supporters and colleagues alike. 

This appointment not only reflects his expertise in governance and leadership but also underscores the trust placed in him to lead critical initiatives that will impact the housing sector in Nigeria. Indeed, his vision for the FMBN is expected to drive positive changes, making home ownership more accessible for many Nigerians.

Godiya ta tabbata ga Allah madaukakin sarki daya tabbatar da nasararmu a yau a kotun daukaka kara ta zaben gwamna.

Ina so in gode wa kotun daukaka kara saboda hukuncin da ta yanke wanda ya tabbatar da nasarar da muka samu a kotun sauraron kararrakin zabe.

Tabbatar da gaskiyar da kotun daukaka kara ta yi tabbas zai karfafa dimokradiyya.

Ina so in yi amfani da damar in yaba wa alkalan kotunan zabe da na kotun daukaka kara da suka tsaya kan gaskiya don ganin an yi adalci.

Dukkan hukunce-hukuncen biyu sun sake tabbatar da cewa bangaren shari'a shine fata na karshe na talaka.

Wannan nasara ce ga daukacin al’ummar jihar nan da mazauna jihar, don haka ina neman goyon bayan kowa ba tare da la’akari da jam’iyya ba don mu hada kai da ni da abokina Alh.Murtala Sule Garo don ci gaban Kano.

Dole ne in gode wa jagoranmu mai kaunarmu, Shugaban Jam’iyyar APC na kasa Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Mataimakin Shugaban Majalisar Dattawa Sen. Barau Jibrin da Ministoci biyu daga Jihar Kano bisa goyon bayan da suka ba mu.

Ina kuma godiya ga shugaban jam'iyyar APC na jiha Alh.Abdullahi Abbas, shuwagabannin jam'iyyar, 'yan majalisun tarayya da na jiha, da shugabannin kananan hukumomi da jiga-jigan jam'iyyar tun daga mataki zuwa jiha.

Ina kara yabawa dukkan Malamai, Al'umman Kasuwanci, Matasa da Kungiyoyin Mata bisa hadin kai da Addu'o'i.

Manufarmu ita ce ci gaba da ci gaba ta hanyar inganta rayuwar mazauna jihar Kano da jama'ar jihar.

Ina kira ga mazauna jihar da jama'ar jihar da su kwantar da hankula su ci gaba da bin doka da oda.
