Kano Govt. Sponsors 119,903 Students For 2024 NECO and NBAIS Examination

Kano State Government will sponsor 119,903 students who sat for the 2024 Qualifying Examination across the 44 Local Government Areas of the state to write the forth coming National Examination Council (NECO) and National Board For Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) examination. This was made known today Thursday by the state Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa while addressing Newsmen in his office. In a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, said Umar Haruna disclosed that earlier, a proposal was made to Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf on 8 credits (including mathematics and English) bench mark for a student to pass the qualifying examination which was later rejected by the Governor and opted to pay for any student that pass 4 credits in any course.
