Kano Deputy Governor Condoles with Governor Namadi in Jigawa Over Tragic Losses
The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, on Sunday, extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State over the tragic loss of the mother and son of the state governor, Alhaji Umar Namadi. In a statement signed by the Press Secretary Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Garba Shu'aibu, said the late Hajiya Maryam Namadi, mother of Governor Namadi, passed away on December 25, 2024, after a protracted illness. Adding to the family’s grief, Governor Namadi's eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, sadly lost his life in a fatal car accident.
