Africa zone 3 FIBA President praises Kano Govt on facilities at Kofar Mata indoor sports
The President of Africa Zone 3 Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA), Colonel Samuel Amedu (rtd) has praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for sustaining the facilities at the Indoor Sports Hall of Sani Abacha Sports complex, Kofar Mata, Kano. Colonel Samuel Amedu who double as board member of Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) made commendation during a clinic organised for the players and coaches in the ongoing Savannah Conference inter secondary schools Nestle Milo basketball championship in Kano. He explained that Kano state has been contributed to the development and promotion of various sporting events especially in interms of hosting national and international competitions. Colonel Samuel Amedu who is also the coordinator of the Nestle Milo basketball championship applauded the sponsors for their commitment to the development of the game at grassroots levels among secondary schools across the country for 25-years.
