Nigerian Medical Association NMA lines up a week activities, praises Governor Yusuf
Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has applauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for taking measures to renovate over 200 Primary Healthcare Centres as well as upgrading some of PHCs and cottage hospital to general hospital across the state. This commendation was made by Kano state chairman of NMA, Dr. AbdulRahman Ali while addressing newsmen on this year's Physicians Week held in the state capital. Dr. AbdulRahman Ali said the commendation became necessary in view of it efforts to improve the health system as well as taking proactive measures aimed at improving the welfare f healthcare workers statewide. The chairman explained that the measures taken by the state government will ginger and motivate the workers to continue to sacrifice and redouble their efforts in this regards.
