Kano Neighbourhood Watch Hands Over Suspected Fake Cosmetic Products to Consumer Protection Council
In furtherance of the Kano State Government’s unwavering commitment to protecting the health, safety and well-being of its citizens, the Kano State According to the statement by the Director Public Engagement of the Outfit, Yusuf Abubakar Ibrahim, Neighbourhood Watch Corps has handed over a vehicle conveying suspected substandard and/or expired cosmetic products to the Kano State Consumer Protection Council for comprehensive investigation and necessary regulatory action. The Commander General of the Corps, Lt. Col. Aminu Yusuf Abdulmalik Rtd, who was represented by the Director Operations, Habibu Balarabe Madigawa, stated that the handover demonstrates the Corps’ resolve to support relevant government agencies in combating the circulation of harmful and counterfeit products within Kano State.
