Digital Literacy: AGILE Kano trains teachers on multimedia content development, remote learning

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) has organised training for teachers on multimedia content development to ensure effective implementation of digital literacy and remote learning in Kano state.  The Project Coordinator Malam Mujtapha Aminu said the training marks an important milestone in an efforts to enhance digital literacy among adolescent girls. Kabir Abubakar Foundation Issues Appointment and Salary Upgrade Letters to 318 Teachers

The Kabir Abubakar Foundation, under the leadership of Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, a member of the House of Representatives for Bichi Federal constituency, has issued appointment letters to the newly 200 employed and salary upgrade letters to 118 existing teachers Dr. Habibu Usman Abdu, the head of the education committee of the Kabir Abubakar Foundation, stated this while addressing newsmen during the grand occasion held at Bichi. Dr. Habibu pointed out that with the employment of the new teachers by the foundation, the total number of teachers has now reached 318. According to him, the newly employed teachers will be posted to primary schools, secondary schools, and Islamic schools in the entire Bichi Local Government. Schools Resumption: Monitoring Teams Report Good Turn Out of Teachers, Students in Kano

As Primary and Post Primary Schools resumed today Monday 6th January for the commencement of second term 2025 academic session in Kano, schools monitoring teams have reported good turn out of teachers and students from the various schools visited. A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment Kano State Ministry of Education Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru explained that teachers, students and pupils were met present in most of the schools as early as 7:30am. " From the report we have, the turn out of both teachers and students is satisfactory, schools have opened as early as 7:30am - 8:00am with absenteeism recorded in few schools.
