Kano Govt. Vows to Fix Inherited Deplorable Condition of Dilapidated Schools in the State
Kano State Government has expressed commitment to address the deplorable condition of the dilapidated schools inherited from the previous administration. The State Commissioner of Education Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda gave the assurance when he visited Murtala Muhammad Senior Secondary School in Tarauni Local Government Area. In a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenmemt of the ministry, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiri, said Murtala Muhammad Senior Secondary School is among the dilapidated schools inherited by the administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf from the previous administration and trying to assess it's condition for renovation. Supervising the school, Dr. Ali Haruna announced that the present administration had inherited a decayed system of education with so many dilapidated schools in the state.
