Comm. Doguwa To New Education Secretaries "Be dedicated and Disciplined to Your Primary Assignment"
Kano State Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa has charged the Local Education Secretaries in the State to be dedicated and disciplined while discharging their official assignment. Umar Doguwa made the charge today Tuesday while addressing the New Education Secretaries from the 44 local government areas during a meeting held at the SBMC Conference Hall, State Universal Basic Education Board. The Commissioner hinted that the Education Secretaries as grass root managers of education sector have a crucial role to play in restructuring the state basic education, pointing out that it is due to the importance of the Education Secretaries post, their appointment are based on certain criteria. Doguwa therefore employed the them to work hard and bring new changes that complement the effort of the present administration in reshaping both primary and post primary education in the state.
