Kano Anti-Corruption Commission Cracks Down on Land Racketeering Syndicate, Including Security Agents
The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has dismantled a syndicate involved in land racketeering, implicating security agents and government officials in the illegal activities. PCACC Chairman, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, disclosed this during a town hall meeting organized by the commission on Tuesday. He reaffirmed the commission’s resolve to prosecute those found guilty, regardless of their influence or status. Syndicate’s Modus Operandi Rimingado revealed that the syndicate operated in collaboration with officials from the Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, security personnel, judicial staff, and officials from the Ministry of Justice.
