Kano Ministry of Land Warns Against Unauthorized Land Deals
The Secretary of the Kano State Task Force on Development Control and Director of Admin and General Services of the Ministry of Land and Physical Planning has cautioned the public against purchasing unverified land in the state. Speaking during a routine inspection of land activities in Katsinawa and Bachirawa areas of Ungogo Local Government, he disclosed that certain individuals were unlawfully subdividing and selling lands without government approval. “We visited the location and discovered that suspected individuals involved in the illegal sale of lands had fled the area. However, we have taken measures to secure the site, including placing a notice board to alert the public to cease all dealings there immediately,” he stated.
