The competition which is being organised by the Nigeria Deaf Football Association was part of it programme to promotes inclusivity, empowerment and talent development among deaf students across the country. A statement signed by the Secretary General of the Association, Mr. Nahemiah Daret said the championship is expected to commence from December 5th to 15, 2024 at Lafia township stadium, Nasarawa state. The Nigerian School Sports Federation (NSSF) has selected players 26 players from the just- concluded national under-15 soccer tournament held in Abuja. The selected players are to represent the country against Ghanian side in an international match scheduled to hold in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. Five players were selected from Kano Government College who emerged runners up in the just- concluded tournament in Abuja.
