In a statement posted by the Senior Special Reporter of the Ministry, Nanu Kankarofi on the his verified Facebook page, the certificate was presented to the Chairman of the Gaya Polytechnic Implementation Committee, Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, by the Kano State Commissioner for Land and Physical Planning, Hon. Abduljabar Umar Garko.
The presentation of the C of O is expected to facilitate further development of the institution’s permanent site as efforts intensify towards its full operationalisation.
Speaking after receiving the certificate, Prof. Kurawa commended the Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for its continued support and commitment to the establishment and development of Gaya Polytechnic.
He also expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for Land and Physical Planning and officials of the ministry for facilitating the issuance and presentation of the certificate.
Prof. Kurawa said the development represented an important milestone in the efforts to ensure that Gaya Polytechnic becomes fully operational at its permanent site.
The institution’s implementation committee is expected to continue working with relevant government authorities and stakeholders towards the completion of the necessary processes for the full take-off of the polytechnic.
Gaya Polytechnic is moving closer to full take-off at its permanent site.
