According to the statement by the Director General Media and Publicity Government House Kano, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Governor described the death as a painful loss, noting that the passing of a mother is a difficult moment for any family, given the important role mothers play in nurturing their children and supporting their families.
Governor Yusuf extended his sympathy to Bello Jadda Sharifai, the immediate family of the deceased and other relatives, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength, patience and fortitude to bear the loss.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Hajia Zahra Sharif Lawan, accept her good deeds and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Governor also urged the bereaved family to take solace in the will of Almighty Allah, stressing the importance of faith and patience during moments of grief.
He further prayed that Allah comforts the family and all those affected by the demise, while granting the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
