Internal Security Commissioner Visits Security Agencies Seek for Collaboration.

The newly appointed Kano State Commissioner of Internal Security and Special Services, Major General Muhammad Inuwa Idris (rtd) said his ministry will work closely with security agencies in the state to ensure safe and more secured environment for all residents of Kano State. The Commissioner made this known when he paid familiarization visits to the Nigeria Air force, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Kano State Police Command, Department of Security Services and Cooperate Security Training Institute Gabasawa.   The State Commissioner of Internal Security and Special Services, Major General Muhammad Inuwa Idris rtd has welcomed the re-deployed Permanent Secretary to the ministry, Alhaji DanAsabe Yahaya, directors and other supporting staff who were also posted as pioneer staff of the ministry. In a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry, Murtala Shehu Umar, said the commissioner who was full of joy and happiness when he met his staff for the first time, described them as backbone of meaningful development and partners in progress. Major General Muhammad Idris in company of the Permanent Secretary and other staff went round to see the offices allocated to the ministry which are under renovation. He therefore, directed the Permanent Secretary to liaise with the contractor to ensure quality and timely completion.
