Kano Govt. Moves to Strengthen Ties with NAFDAC
Kano state government has reaffirmed its determination to provide qualitative and affordable healthcare services to the teeming populace.
This was disclosed by Director General, Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency, Pharm. Gali Sule today when the management of the agency paid a working visit to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Farouk Isa Musa, Pharmacist Gali Sule said they were at NAFDAC office to seek for more collaboration with the federal regulatory agency with purpose of devising ways and means to, healthwise, further safeguard the people in the state.
Speaking further, the DG emphasized that the state government, led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, will not compromise in ensuring its resolve to build and sustain a healthy society.
Responding, the NAFDAC State Coordinator, Alh. Kasim Idrisa Ibrahim pledged to work closely with the Kano DMCSA so as to achieve the desired objective.
The Coordinator stressed that NAFDAC remains committed to transparency and integrity in all its endeavours, adding that as a sister government agency, NAFDAC will always be ready to collaborate with DMCSA.
Speaking during the visit, the Director Drugs and Supply of DMCSA, Pharm. Tukur Ibrahim commended NAFDAC for its sisterly support to his agency, pledging continuous cooperation.
