PRESS RELEASE  31st December 2024 Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended the service period of Head of Civil Service, some Permanent Secretaries and Senior Civil Servants to the period of 2 years with effect from 31st December 2024. This was contained in an Executive Order signed by the Governor in accordance with the Doctrine of necessity. The decision of the governor is backed by the provision therein in section 5 (2) and 208 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).
